When you charter the EXPOSURE you choose your destinations. We often get asked by our out of area charter customers for some suggestions of local ports of call and the cruise times to visit these ports. We have put together some sample cruises that have proven to be successful in the past. Take a look and maybe get some ideas.

A cruise through the Thimble Islands in Branford, CT. is almost like cruising to the islands of Maine.

Branford, Thimble Islands and New Haven Harbor:

    Depart from the Branford River and cruise the Connecticut shore line to Light House Point and see the beautiful City of New Haven from the water. Return via the Thimble Islands, Stony Creek and see the beauty of the coast of Maine on the Connecticut coast. Cruise time appox 3 hours.

North Shore Long Island and Port Jefferson Harbor:

    One of Connecticut boaters favorite cruising destinations. This adventure cruise will make all your guests happy. Upon arrival in this quaint harbor we will dock at the famous Danfords Marina. Plenty of time ashore to sightsee, shop and dine.  Our return to our homeport will take us through New Haven Harbor and the East Haven shoreline. Cruise time aprox. 4 hrs.

Connecticut River, Saybrook Point and Essex Connecticut:

   From our Branford departure point we will cruise east along the Connecticut shore to the mouth of the Connecticut River.  Once through the breakwater we can stop at Saybrook Point or continue up the picturesque historic river to the quaint village of Essex. Our stop here will afford you time to shop and dine.   One of our most popular destinations is sure to please.  Cruise time appox. 6 hrs.

Historic Mystic Village on the Mystic River:

    Visit historic Mystic Village the way the colonial mariners did, by water. Your private yacht will depart Branford and cruise east on Long Island Sound into Fishers island Sound and the Mystic River.  We will wind our way past the marshes and marinas that dot the shoreline.  Plenty of time shoreside exploring the local shops and restaurants.  This on the water experience will provide many future memories. Cruise time approx. 8 hrs.
